The association is a member of the SoilTribes Community of Practice

Since March 2026 the Lithuanian Citizen Science Association has been a member of the Community of Practice of the SoilTribes project.
SoilTribes is a Horizon Europe project under the EU Mission "A Soil Deal for Europe", running from 2025 to 2027 with 25 partners from 11 EU countries. Its aim is to strengthen soil literacy and people's connection with soil: according to the project, about 60-70% of EU soils are unhealthy.
The Community of Practice is a Europe-wide network that brings together people from academia, business, government, civil society and the arts. Its members co-design tools, communication approaches and recommendations to improve soil literacy. The project also runs seven Soil Lab Activators and seven Stewardship Assemblies led by municipalities, where residents help identify soil challenges and design solutions.
For the association, the community is a chance to share experience in citizen science and public engagement, and to follow how participatory methods are used in the field of soil.
