Citizen engagement in climate policymaking: a workshop at the Office of the Government
On 3 December Dr. Monika Mačiulienė (VILNIUS TECH, RIECS-Concept) took part in a workshop at the Office of the Government of Lithuania on how to further involve citizens and the organisations representing them in shaping and implementing climate and environmental policy.
The workshop was part of preparing Lithuania's 2026-2027 Open Government Action Plan. Discussions covered accessible participation formats, clearer communication about decision-making and stronger feedback between institutions and communities.
