On 29 April the first international citizen science conference, "Citizen Science: Bridging Theory and Practice", took place at the Scholarly Communication and Information Centre of Vilnius University.
It brought together researchers, practitioners, librarians, policymakers and students from Lithuania and abroad. The conference was moderated by Dr. Monika Mačiulienė, representing the RIECS-Concept project. The discussions offered insights for developing citizen science within Lithuania's research and policy systems.
