From awareness to action: living labs and citizens' assemblies in climate adaptation

On 27 May a scientific-practical conference on living labs and co-creation took place at the VILNIUS TECH Sustainability Hub, organised by the National Living Labs Network (LLLNet) with partners.

Dr. Monika Mačiulienė, head of the Lithuanian Citizen Science Association, presented how living labs and citizens' assemblies complement each other in climate adaptation, drawing on pilot activities in five European countries. The conference stressed that locally grounded participation and long-term trust-building work better than one-way communication.
