Funding: the Open Lithuania Foundation's VERTA! programme supports bilateral projects with NGOs from EU countries

Under the second phase of its VERTA! programme (2025-2027), the Open Lithuania Foundation invites applications for bilateral cooperation projects. The call can be useful for organisations that want to try out civic engagement or citizen science activities with a partner from another EU country.

Key facts

  • Deadline: applications are accepted on a rolling basis until 31 January 2027, 23:59 Lithuanian time, or until the funds are used up
  • Partnership: the project is carried out with an NGO from another EU Member State that works on EU values
  • What is funded: bilateral cooperation projects that promote EU values and civic engagement
  • How many projects: at least 20 projects are planned
  • Limit per organisation: the maximum support for one organisation across all calls of the second phase is EUR 60,000

The programme is funded by the EU Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme. As applications are assessed on a rolling basis and funds are limited, it is worth applying early.
