The EU Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme opens the European Remembrance 2026 call on 21 October. One of its topics is relevant for Lithuanian civil society organisations that work with communities and their memory.

Key facts

  • Topic: CERV-2026-CITIZENS-REM-TRANSITION, "Remembering democratic transitions, the (re-)building of democratic institutions, and strengthening society based on the rule of law, democracy, and fundamental rights"
  • Applications: from 21 October 2026 until 24 February 2027
  • Budget: EUR 28 million for all topics of the European Remembrance 2026 call together
