On 7-8 October 2026 the annual EU DisinfoLab conference, #Disinfo2026, took place in Vilnius at the Radisson Blu Lietuva. The Lithuanian Citizen Science Association took part.
Each year the conference brings together the counter-disinformation community: academics, journalists, NGOs, and government and tech professionals. Pre-conference workshops were held on 6 October, and the main days featured sessions in a variety of formats.
This year's programme topics included AI and disinformation, enforcement and platform accountability, and strengthening the collective response to information threats.
